Hi The Virginian Rehabilitation Department has part time and PRN opportunities for a SLP with a strong interest in serving the geriatric client in a dynamic evidence based treatment setting. Our clients may be in our skilled rehab unit (SNF), reside in the building in Independent Living apartments, Assisted Living, or in the Health Care Center, or come in from the surrounding community as outpatients. Present programs in place include VitalStim, and LSVT.
The Virginian is a continuing care Retirement Community in Fairfax, VA. The Rehabilitation Department is an integral part of the Virginian community, but in addition, we serve the geriatric population in Northern Virginia through our skilled care unit and geriatric outpatient practice.
