Medical clinic in Globe, AZ looking for a full time BE/BC primary care physician to join their practice. Located just 45 minutes north east of Mesa this rural mining community nestled in the Pinal Mountains is short drive to shopping, skiing, boating, and hiking. The clinic currently offers FP/OB services to 4000 active patients, and services the area of Southern Gila County (Globe, Miami, Roosevelt, Kerney, San Carlos & Superior).
Candidate must be able to secure AZ license and meet credentialing requirements at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center for hospital privileges (Active license, BC/BE, ACLS, NRP, for OB this includes having 30 c-sections in the past 3 years). The current scope of practice includes: Adult Medicine, Sports Medicine, Dermatology, Pediatrics, GYN services, Prenatal Care, Deliveries, Occupational Medicine, and Geriatrics. We are looking to expand our practice and our community is in need of ALL primary care physicians. There is a good referral source in place for both Obstetrical Patients and Occupational Medicine clients. Assistance with contracting and credentialing with all major health plans provided once contract is signed. Income guarantee can be negotiated with the local hospital for qualified applicants. No inpatient care required for Med/ICU as there is a hospitalist program available, NO Doc/ER Back up call coverage averages 1 weekend q 7 and OB call coverage is 1weekend q3.
Clinic offers many in office lab options, in office ultrasound, integrated EHR/Practice Management with electronic prescriptions. This 2200 sqft facility is the longest continually operating medical facility in the Globe-Miami area and therefore has a long standing relationship with the community.
