AHRC is Hiring CERTIFIED HHA & DIRECT CARE COUNSELORS (Queens)

AHRC is hiring Direct Care Staff for full-time and part-time positions!!!

Please attend the job fair and interview with employer on the spot (no appointment necessary).

If you can answer "yes" to the following questions, we definitely would like to meet you!

1. Are you interested in part time/per diem work?
2. Do you have at least 6 months experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, special needs, the elderly and kids?
3. Are you willing to bathe, dress, feed, or toilet a person with a disability?
4. Are you able to provide your original High School diploma/GED, or other educational documents?
5. Can you provide work authorization verification?

***** Candidates who have experience with Autistic individuals and Drive are STRONGLY preferred*******

DESCRIPTION:
-Responsible for meeting the residents' needs in the areas of skill training, socialization, recreation and leisure activities, and utilization of community resources
-Under the direction of the Residence Manager and members of the Interdisciplinary Team
-Expected to work with residents in according with their plan of care in carrying out the professional-developed activities
-Must be caring, patient, and willing to work with the mentally challenged population.
-Bi Lingual Spanish a +, but not required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-High school diploma or GED required.
-HHA CERTIFIED, AMAP, SKIP TRAINING REQUIRED
