RN's, Imaging Services, Dietitian (Gardena, CA)

Memorial Hospital of Gardena is a 172 bed hospital with 103 acute beds and 69 sub-acute beds. We are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). We offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services designed to meet the needs of our patients.

Our hospital offers the community a wide range of services such as; Nursing Care, Sub-Acute Care, Pediatrics, Industrial Medicine, and 24-hour Emergency Services. We provide transportation to patients needing outpatient testing or surgical procedures at our facility

Emergency Department
Registered Nurse Emergency Department Director Full time - Must have current California RN license. Must possess a current BLS, PALS, and ACLS cards preferred but not required. Must have RN License and BSN Degree Preferred, and have 3-5 years of related ER management experience in acute care hospital, and strong leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills! A Registered Nurse who has 24-hour responsibility for the clinical and administrative management of the Emergency Department, responsible and accountable for providing direct age specific patient care to assigned patients or managing a team during an established shift. The Director follows the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. The Director provides clinical leadership for other nursing staff as assigned and performs related duties required. Supervises RN’s, LVN’s, ER Technicians Unit Secretary, and other ancillary nursing personnel involved in the delivery of patient care.


Case Management
Registered Nurse Case Manager Full time 8a–5p - Must have current California RN license, BCLS, certification. A minimum of 2 years case management in an acute care hospital. Case Management Certification and BSN preferred. A Registered Nurse who is responsible for managing and coordinating the care of the patients in the acute care setting. Analyzes patient’s records to determine legitimacy of admission, treatment, and length of stay in health care facility to comply with government and insurance company reimbursement policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.


Perinatal
OB Charge Nurse RN Full time 7a-7p x1 - Must have current California RN license. Must possess current BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring Certificate. Requires at least two (2) years prior RN experience in an acute care hospital.. BSN preferred. Responsible and accountable for providing direct age specific patient care to assigned patients or managing the team providing patient care. The Charge Nurse is responsible for the coordination of the team approach to patient care. In addition to those of the Staff Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing clinical leadership and clinical management for the nursing staff of an assigned unit. Supervises LVN’s, CNA’s, Unit Secretary, and other ancillary nursing personnel involved in the delivery of patient care.


Perinatal
Registered Nurse L&D Full time /Part time 7a-7p x1- Must have a current California RN license, ALCS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring (basic and Advanced). A minimum 1-2 years L&D experience. Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care. Accepts and supports changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs.


Imaging Services
Director Full time - ARRT Certification. Completion of a four-year degree in radiology technology or a related
healthcare field. Minimum of eight (8) years hospital experience as a CRT. Minimum of four (4) years previous
experience in hospital radiology department management. Knowledge of regulatory and licensure requirements
including but not limited to Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health, and CMS. Ability to adapt
to change and work under stressful situations. Possesses strong leadership skills including the ability to coach,
mentor, teach, collaborate on and negotiate resolution to issues. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the
ability to develop relationships with physicians, administration, and colleagues to achieve desired outcomes.
Thorough knowledge of radiology technology systems, radiology practices, and possesses effective project
management skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, high degree of proficiency with
computer systems including but not limited to MS Office.


Accounting

Chief Financial Officer Full time days - Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an
accredited institution. Master’s degree preferred. Experience A minimum 5 years financial/accounting progressive,
managerial experience in acute-care environment, Recent CFO experience highly preferred, Must be proficient in
written and verbal communication skills, Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
hospital staff and community, Ability to maintain confidential information concerning personal, financial, or
medical matters. Certifications: CPA.


Accounting
Controller Full time days - The Controller is responsible for the hospital fiscal services, will assist in the
management of the fiscal services department, including; the development, interpretation, coordination, and
administration of the hospital's policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal
controls, auditing and planned future operations. The Controller coordinates the functions of reimbursements,
budget, patient accounting and general accounting, which includes; general ledger accounting, accounts payable,
and preparation of financial statements. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports outlining the hospital's
financial position in all areas of assets, liabilities, income and expense, based on past, present, and planned future
operations.


Dietary
Clinical Dietitian Full time 8a-4:30p- We are currently seeking a Full Time experienced Clinical Dietitian for
Our Dietary Patient Services Dept. Hours: Days. REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION - ADA At least 2 years
experience highly preferred in an acute care hospital. Minimum Field of Expertise Knowledge of foods
/nutrition; Food preparation/production; Supervisory/instructional techniques. This position plans and delivers
nutritional care of patients/residents in accordance with physicians' orders and requirements of regulatory agencies.
Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to assess, plan and administer nutrition care to
patients with nutritional risk factors.
