Medical Tactic (Iraq and other locations )

Job Duties: Provide medical support or "out of hospital care" in a tactical environment. TM will work under the supervision of a physician assistant, physician or nurse practitioner. Work with team members in the performance of a wide variety of missions that may include, but are not limited to, personal security details, convoy operations, and support for civilian contractor operations. Carries and operates weapons as specified in daily post and detail orders. The Tactical Medic will perform as an integral team member and take part in all duties assigned by the team leader. After appropriate level of training, provide emergent and non-emergent medical support such as treatment of minor acute illnesses in field conditions to include but not limited to fluid resuscitation, hemorrhage control with hemostatic agents, airway support, and life support for patients with prolonged casualty evacuation times.

Other Duties: Track and maintain individual supply requirements, assist in training activities of fellow medics and team members, attend courses that have relevance to assigned duties. Operate up-armored vehicles. Provide supervision for other CHS tactical medics if placed in team leader role.

Qualifications: Current civilian certification as an EMT-P or EMT Intermediate. State Paramedic or Intermedicate license required, NREMT a plus. ACLS and CPR are required.

At least 1 year experience in a high threat environment. Must have a minimum of three years experience as a medic (Federal Government, military, law enforcement, federal agencies, or commercial executive protection services with military or police background)

• US Army Special Forces Medic (18 Delta)
• USAF Pararescue (PJ)
• US Navy or USAF Independent Medical Duty training
• Other Government Agency medical experience ie; FBI, CIA, DEA
• Other tactical/ operational medical training such as OEMS or T1G
• Other international equivalents valued and considered

Familiarity with the M-4, M-9, Glock and Sig weapons system.

Holds or would be willing to obtain a Sponsor Industrial Security Approval TOP SECRET or SECRET clearance, or equivalent, which includes an in-depth background check, including criminal, financial, and educational checks will be performed.

Candidate must complete PSD/tactical driving course.
Must be able to meet Federal Law Enforcement Physical Efficiency Battery standards

Successfully pass medical, physical fitness and psychological screening.

Must have or be able to obtain a US security clearance.

Unrestricted driver's license with International driver's permit.

Excellent communications skills.

Fluent in English.

Current unrestricted US passport.
