Typically, you are expected to provide the following essential and excellent care to your patients:
· Registered Nurses will supervise and train Licensed Practical Nurses and nursing aides
· Provide personable bedside care to patients and their families
· Starting intravenous infusions, administering oxygen, monitoring blood sugar levels and consulting with the supervising physicians.
· Evaluates assigned patients
· Plans, implements, and documents nursing care.
· Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
· Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of an RN or LPN.
· Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
While completing the tasks above, we expect all our nurses to communicate with compassion and empathy to the patients and their families. In addition, our nurses will use their perceptive observation skills, high ethical standards, and practical knowledge to notify physicians and others regarding their patients’ conditions.
Requirements:
· Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
· Must possess a valid state driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and have dependable transportation
· Must have a minimum of one year of clinical experience
· Previous clinical experience at a Skilled Nursing Facility is highly preferred

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
