Today’s Job Description: Home Health Aide
Today’s Job Locations: Marlborough, Hudson, Northborough and Westborough

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Home Health Aides for cases begining in metro-west, including; Hopkinton, Northborough, Hudson, Marlborough, Southborough and Westborough.

Daily Responsibilities Include:
1. Provide necessary information on health status of client
2. Supervise & Assist Activities for Daily Living
3. Encourages client in self-help and optimal level of independence or participation in activities
4. Provides and assists with skin care by turning and positioning client as prescribed, and providing care to pressure point areas (e.g. back rubs)
5. Assists and guides the client in transfer process from bed to chair, commode or other devices
6. Assists in elimination process by giving bedpan, urinal, or brings client to the bathroom; records and measures output.
7. Assists in giving client bath, partial, tub or shower. Observes and reports skin conditions
8. Provides assistance with oral hygiene and hair care
9. Encourages client to follow prescribed exercise program which may include range of motion exercises and ambulation
10. Reminds clients to take medications that are ordinarily self-administered
11. Practices safely and competently within the job description

Minimum requirements
The Home Health Aide is a mature person who:
1. 3-5 years of Home Care Experience
2. Is at least 18 years old
3. Is flexible, sensitive to the needs of others, reliable and able to cope with emergencies
4. Is able to carry out and understand directions and instructions
5. Is able to record details of client and keep records
6. Can drive and owns a car or daily access to a car
7. Fluent in English
8. Often times clients are in need of Bi-Lingual aides

  1. This is an excellent program! Unless you have had a relative in a Home Health Aide , it's hard to understand just how depressing and devastating it is. It's as if we are warehousing them until they die. It's wonderful to hear about efforts to give these patients hope and comfort again!
