Primary Job Function:

Taimma is seeking a full-time, Medical Storyboard Designer who will be mainly responsible for the development of medically accurate and educationally sound storyboards to produce our medical education projects.

Job Description:

• Work with members of the content and production teams to develop instructional storyboards for animated, interactive online training programs designed for medical residents or experienced pharmaceutical representatives
• Ensure the overall quality and uniformity of the information flow (information architecture), learning objectives, and instructional design of all projects; ensuring that established treatment templates are followed
• Design and suggest multimedia interactive activities and exercises to provide practice and/or performance measures to help learners achieve desired outcomes
• Provide outlines and ideas for the design and development of customizable assessment and exercise templates for multimedia interactive training activities
• Design instruments for formative and summative evaluation of training projects
• Interact with clients in regards to content of scripts and storyboards

Ideal Qualifications:

• Clinical background
• Experience in medical and/or scientific writing
• Experience in instructional design of medical training programs
• Creativity and a knack for demystifying complex information
• Experience designing medical online and CD-Rom programs
• Computer skills: Word, Outlook, Internet, and Excel
• Background as a trainer and/or instructional designer
• Outstanding English (both written and oral)

Assets:

• University degree in science, graduate degree in a related discipline
• University degree in instructional design
• Teaching experience or experience in medical editing/writing for multimedia
• Training in a bio-science discipline and knowledge of clinical terminology
